Lejla Beqiri-Vula is flutist holding a PhD in flute performance from Republic of North Macedonia and works in State Music School in Tetovo as a flute teacher. She has played in many orchestras around Europe, has won many Europe wide Prices on International Flute Competitions and is The National Coordinator for North Macedonia in the European Association for Music in School (EAS).

The Project

The project Schools@Concerts in Republic of North Macedonia took place on 26.03.2018 in Tetovo - a city 45 km form the capital city and the second biggest city in Macedonia. It is a city that lately has witnessed a vividly cultural growing in almost every aspect of it. Being so, many festivals are hosted and a lot of international artists and orchestras come and perform. One of which was chosen for this project of mine. It is an international festival and an abrought American orchestra was performing. They performed in House of Culture being the biggest concert hall in Tetovo with capacity of 600 seats. In the project were engaged 8 students (4 girls and 4 boys) age of 12 of primary school. They visited a concert that was part of an 6th International Festival “Scene of Classical Music ”.
